Custom Pet Portrait

You can commission a portrait of your beloved pet with me
Each piece begins with photographs and a short story about your dog or cat, then slowly becomes something more than simple likeness.
I look for character, mood, posture, and that quiet inner light that makes every pet unique.
My portraits are created by hand in digital technique, with the feeling of traditional drawing, without using artificial intelligence.
I work the same way I do in classical drawing, paying attention to pencil pressure, charcoal, eraser, and
other traditional techniques I have mastered over many years of practice.
I work with line, light, and pauses, trying to preserve a sense of presence,
as if your pet has just lifted their head or is about to take a breath.
Many of these portraits become gifts, family keepsakes, or memorial pieces.
For some, they hold memories. For others, they celebrate years of friendship.
For me, each portrait is a meeting, a brief moment of closeness with another life, translated into the language of drawing.
How the commission works
1. Pet photos
You send me several photos of your pet (ideally 5 to 10 images) where their face and personality are clearly visible.
I review the quality and let you know if higher resolution images are needed.
2. Payment
I start working after receiving payment.
Price: €65 per one pet.
At the moment, the following payment options are available:
PayPal / Bank transfer (I’ll send you the details if this method works for you) / Bizum (if you’re in Spain)
3. Timeline
Once payment is confirmed, I will let you know the expected completion date.
A digital portrait usually takes 7 to 10 business days (I work in Madrid time zone, CEST).
If you need the portrait by a specific date, please let me know in advance.
4. Final file
When the portrait is finished, you will receive an email with the file attached.
You receive a high resolution JPEG suitable for printing:
• size 4961 × 7087 px
• resolution 300 dpi
The file is suitable for printing sizes up to 40 × 60 cm (15.7 × 23.6 in)
on paper, canvas, or any surface you prefer.

Printing recommendations
I recommend printing on matte fine art paper with a light texture (around 200 to 300 gsm).
Papers with slight structure, such as cold-pressed watercolor paper or textured fine art inkjet paper,
work beautifully for portraits. They add depth and make the drawing look closest to a hand-drawn original.
You are welcome to choose any size, including large formats like 40 × 60 cm (15.7 × 23.6 in),
depending on your space and where you plan to display the portrait.
Double portraits
I can create one portrait with two pets together in the same artwork.
The price is the same as for two individual portraits, as I always work with
the personality and details of each pet separately, even when they are placed on one sheet.
Digital format
All portraits are created digitally from the start, so there are no physical originals. Instead,
you receive a professional high resolution digital file fully ready for printing.
